when you go to look make sure the ABS,TC,HDC light works as they should could get expensive to fix if your not able to do the work yourself
Look underneath the car and make sure the propshaft and VCU are present if not could be trying to hide a fault
go for a drive put it in reverse and full lock and go round in circles if ir feels like the brakes are catching then it could be a faulty VCU which is a couple of hundred £
engine wise its the better engine of them all in my eyes they can grow a leak round the oil filter as stated above (noticed mine has one today) and check when the belts were last change if they have no prove of when last done you should think they haven't done them and its something i would do straight away for piece of mind as a belt slipping/snapping can involve major engine work.
