FFS thas a bit shiny int it???? :p

yer - it is a bit - i gorra do a trial fit into Tufftee - then finish fabricating the headlight sections, then cut half the floor and bulkhead away, replace that - then start welding bits back together.

then do the other side .

Dont fancy welderising all that galvanised stuff - not good fur yu that stuff, plus its a bastid to weld.

Aye yer gets a good ole dose of Phosgene gas (Mustard gas to yu owld bastids) when yer weld Galvie. so best done outside or whilst wearing an airfed facemask.

i like these bits..

When zinc vapor mixes with the oxygen in the air, it reacts instantly to become zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is non-toxic and non carcinogenic. Zinc oxide that is inhaled is simply absorbed and eliminated by the body without complications or chronic effects.

When welding galvanized products that have thin, uniform coatings and the process is gas-shielded MIG or flux core, the fumes generated are sparse and the shielding gas blows them away from the welder; this is frequently sufficient to avoid metal fume fever without further action.
