I know what you mean. I bought some 265/75/16 special tracks a few weeks ago. I ordered 5. 1 had a small amount of sidewall damage so they sent me a 6th. 6 for £350:p

I thought about the Special Tracks but wondered if they might be a bit much when on a wet road.
Besides, when at the CORE off road site the other day I heard too many half shafts go 'pop' when a spinning Special Track tyre suddenly finds grip and stops dead.

Why worry, i'm looking at fitting 34/11.5/16's Jungle Trekers next time round, set of 5 £770, if it brakes then it wasn't good enough, fit beefed up shafts and with the amount of grip they give shouldn't need to spin the wheels.

I wanted sahara's but I couldn't find em in 265/75/16's. The Special Tracks sound like I have a helicopter overhead wherever I go. I keeps stoppin and lookin for the police chopper but I can't see it. I fink they must be hiding.:p

nope - i just wondered if there was room fur yu in the back wiv my missus?

if i is navigating - and yo Doris is driving.......

Don't worry Daft there will be plenty of spare spaces.

BTW who is bringing what?
Who said they had a bag of charcoal?

as i sed before - i reckon the best bet is bring everything fur yoself - plus a bit more fur "swapsies" and we should be covered. Otherwise its a nightmare to organise.

i hope everyone driving has AT tyres fitted - not road tyres.

ere Grippa - can you remember that muddy bouncy lany we went down just before the pub when we went out together:eek:?

Fock sake, have we got to bring our own food? and BBQ? or is someone doing the cooking?

ffs how many more times - this is NOT an organised event - its a group of peeps meeting up and doing there own thing.

but all together at the same time ;)
