hi
indeed
@lynall i had a faulty solenoid from the beginning, was replaced under warranty , however it wasn’t hot , it wouldn’t switch over when i pressed the link button inside the vehicle
@AdaminIssaquah
have enclosed some pictures of my install
my solenoid has never got hot,
1) how have u run ur earths please
2) have u tested the solonoid to ensure its disconnecting with a multimeter and the internal relay isn’t fused and therefore causing the heat ??
3) have u installed inline fuses
4) is ur aux battery fully charged and what type is it
plse feel free to u ask any questions , plenty of us here happy to help
can u take some more pics please , just showing more of the full install , ie how and where the wires are connected etc , thks
assume ur going to recrimp the wires , ie exposed wires, along with proper heatshrink and sleeving, etc
also agree that brass battery post connector looks too big, otherwise ur asking for trouble, especially when it comes to wiring
PS, if i may say , we normally pop into the introduce section , lol
