Hi

300 tdi Discovery some play in nearside swivel....

Some are saying remove a shim on top and re tighten.....some say check bearings....

would a recent 2" lift have brought this problem on?

Had motor 3 years almost and guess they are originals..

lift shouldnt effect ,wheel offset or spacers might , you can remove shims if bearings are good ,if you undo seal you should be able to tell by feel as you reset preload by removing shim or 2

ok James , there's no offset or spacers, so will give it a go
