Thanks TorsionBhudda, but just to confuse matters the dowel bolts I have which came in a genuine parts bag have a 13mms head and the other bolts have a 17mm head !The Dowel bolt is slighly larger on the shank but the actual bolt heads and threads are the same diameter once you have the swivel off the bolt will only fit in one hole
Just been and checked, the dowel bolt fits in two holes !The Dowel bolt is slighly larger on the shank but the actual bolt heads and threads are the same diameter once you have the swivel off the bolt will only fit in one hole
12 O'clock ring a bell with me it's possible that someone drilled out the hole that's at 8 o'clock. I would fit the dowel at 12o'clockJust been and checked, the dowel bolt fits in two holes !
One at 12 o'clock and one at 8 o'clock !!!

swivel pins/bearings are done, but it's dark outside and raining so I'm going to fit everything tommorow and bleed the brakes.
I also cut a slot in the brake pipe bracket so I don't have to disconnect the brake line in the future.
thanks for your help TorsionBhudda.
