Britpart Swivel ball kit includes swivel seal and securing plate but no gasket to go under the plate. Is it okay to fit plate with no gasket? Haynes Manual shows gasket.

Urgent Help Needed As Want To Fit Hubs Back On Car Today!!!
(Don't worry I didn't use crap ****part bearings or seals)

300 tdi dont use a gasket only on 200 and before
