Hi

Just took my 1996 300tdi for MOT today, mechanic passed it but told me my swivel joint is leaking, and needs attention.

ill have a go at fixing it my self, just wondering how to tell if i need a new joint, or if i can get away with replacing a seal.

kind of new to DIY jobs on Landy's so all comments appreciated!!!

drain oil and refill with one-shot.

ahh that sounds alot better than replacing it all!!

Just looked on Paddocks £3.05 for a bottle of one shot, just enough for 1 swivel joint.

just a bit of info for any one else with same problem.

Wow good guide , thanks for that link had it explained down the phone by a friend of mine but the pics are a great guide!!

doesn't look to complex if just draining and one shot doesn't work ill have a bash at replacing
