It's along time since i worked on landrovers. In those days we put gear oil in the swivel housing. I've been looking at another thread about this subject & i wonder if the grease in sachets is suitable for a series 2. Or should i use a semi fluid gease such as glygoyl (Mobil if i remember correctly) Any advice gladly accepted.

gear oil is still fine ,grease is too as long as it will flow ,top pin is lubricated by splash from uj

lr use 370 ml of semi fluid grease
