Hello Everyone

I am looking for a swing away wheel carrier for my 1991 short wheel base Defender. There seem to be one or different types. Are there any that that are better than others? I was hoping not to spend many hundreds of £££

I've use a Mantec one, easy to fit and solid! I stand on mine to clean the roof.

DA2232. Yes know it's Britpart but I am very impressed with mine 18 months after fitting.

Many thanks for your for your replies and apologies for my delayed response - I have only just found your messages (technically challenged). Using to clean the roof is an added bonus I had not considered!
Will count pennies and investigate suggestions

Britpart on mine for at least a couple of years, carrying an 8.25 inch mich which is heavy.

As for cleaning your roof why?

Brit part one on mine too I'm happy with it especially if you check the prices compered to the premium ones.
