The truck is a 1987 ex-military 110 radio, 2.5L normally aspirated diesel.
It was running an LT77 gearbox with a LT230 transfer box until the gearbox packed it in (2nd time).

I have obtained a beautiful looking rebuilt "short-bellhousing" R380 from Ashcroft Transmissions in the UK. It's advertised to replace the LT77 anywhere it was used in a 4 cylinder vehicle. Ashcroft Transmissions. The truck is presently at my mechanics (West Canada), and he called me today confused.

The problem is that the bosses on the right rear of the tailhousing for mounting the transfer case linkages are not present on the R380. I will discuss this with Ashcroft, but that means staying up really late! I'm hoping your expertise may enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

It appears the R380 uses a different linkage. It apparently is a bar and pivot bolt that bolts to the top right of any R380 near the main casing. If an one has part numbers for these, I'd appreciate it.
