Well, without taking the ****, your Rangie is very unlikely to fetch more than a grand on the open market. That's about top book for a classic these days, apart from really 'special' ones, like early two doors, or stuff that's fully prepped.

Entry price for a 90, ANY 90, let alone the one every one and his dog wants, a TDi, is around £900, and THAT is for something early, like on a B, C, or D plate, and it wont be much more than a spares or repairs project...

Too many people have the idea of buying one and 'doing it up' usually with a 'cheap' MOT failed Disco as donor for such things as a knackered TDi engine and disc brakeds back axle.

'Genuine' TDi 90 will be a post 1991 "Defender", and entry price for one of them, will be around £2k, again for something that needs rather more than a bit of TLC.

A 'Tidy' TDi 90 is more likely to set you back £3-4K or more depending on spec and condition.

Something reasonably serviceable, by way of an earlier pre-TDi 90, possibly with a disco motor in it, might come in at between £1800 & £2,500.

And I doubt many would want to swap a 90 or 110 for a Rangie, its nearly ALWAYS the other way around.... Rangie or Disco gets bought as a reletively 'normal' 4x4 'car', gets used on something slippy, mags get bought, more slipppy stuff gets driven, and then a 90/110 is wanted instead.

Probably best off selling yours on, and then using pure folding as the pry-bar to lever a Landy off-some-one!
