Approx. 16k miles ago I fitted 4 new Hankook Dynapro ATM tyres, I think they've got noisier over time and someone did say that with wear they can get noisier and my local garage ran his hands over the tread and said "yep, noisy tyres".
My questions is, has anyone had this and swapped them with the other side to get them to spin the other way and reduce noise?
I've checked and these can run in both directions.
TIA.

Yes, I did, it was a standard LR trick with the FL1 too.
The VCU puts a constant drag on tyres, which can cause some tread designs to sawtooth.

Worth checking the VCU with the one wheel up test too. A tight vcu will increase tyre noise dramatically as it scrubs the rubber off!!

This only works if you have one set of tyres or if you have them marked. When the garage changed my winter and summer tyres they never wrote anything on. Could have never swapped them as it was more like roulette.
