Morning All,

My 99 Disco 2 has the usual problems with suspension, the current list is, air bag failed on offside, compressor failing to run, ( doors all shut, interior lights working, fuses and relays all ok ) ACE red light and pinger on.

This is a really abused Disco.... 200 miles per week off road and only 50 miles on road. It has to tow a heavy stock trailer to market, and a flat bed trailer full of fencing kit. The sheep dogs live in the back and all my kit, tools etc live over the rear seats.

An idea is to bin the air and ace in favour of springs with a 2" lift. Bearing in mind what this truck has to do every day will I need to change the radius arms etc?. Who would be the best ( cheapest ) supplier?

If anybody is interested I can provide pictures of the old girl, and where she works!

HI, my D2 is getting the conversion at the weekend as dragging it's bum around this weekend and can't be bothered repairing again. Just brought two HD rear springs and 2 top spacer things and the two base plates. Cost 56 squid verses 90 if you buy the same parts as a "kit" ....?

My local chap said just pop it in and for a tenner he will set ECU to coil settings. Seems simple and according to the threads i've read it is.
