Do'er of stuff and the like
We started having a suspension warning light come on the disco 2 - its the one with arrows going up and down on the picture of the vehicle as well as the red circle with exclamation mark

Started only intermittently but now it does it all the time. No codes picked up on the nanocom as if the ignition is switched off it resets and the lights go out.

Air suspension is going up and down as required

compressor starting to die and its sending some over current signal or something?

1. Is that red warning coming on together with the SLS? ... if not check the brake fluid level first
2. can you make it rise to ORM height if you use the switch?
3. are the ABS related warnings working on ignition self test

I had similar warning lights recently. It turned out to be the Alternator on its way out.

both together mate, i checked the brake fluid as i thought it was too.... alass no.

Although it is rather black and wants changing!

2. can you make it rise to ORM height if you use the switch?

I believe it did, ill check it again at the weekend when im home. - if not, what is that pointing too? Level sensors? Slabs ECU? Compressor?

3. are the ABS related warnings working on ignition self test

I believe they are from memory. Didnt notice them NOT working (but then it wasnt something i was looked for)
It does have an abs fault at present and needs the rh rear sensor doing again.

yeah but thats because the rear abs sensor has gone up the spout, it did it months ago. I dont think its related as the abs system is totally seperate non? (im going half french haha) Also before i changed the sensor the 3 amigos were on for a year with no ill effect (it was the same abs sensor as this one thats gone)

Ill have to wait till i get home to play with the compressor etc. It always did sound a bit "rattly" so maybe its just giving up the ghost now.

Check height sensors and also check airbags spray some washing up liquid mixed with water over airbags to check for air leaks and if you have reoccurring issues with abs sensor you might want to think about possible abs ring issues with that hub as I had simular probs and it only stopped after I changed hub.

well weirdly the red circle light error has randomly stopped occuring and its no longer going into limp mode

The abs is sorted too, the abs sensor had been worn away by the reductor ring from the look of it.

replaced, and all is well with the world. Hell i even found where the coolant loss is happening - radiator core is split. New rad and itll be actually completely working... without any faults!!! (im hugging wood when i say that!)

It's not weird at all cos the red brake warning used to be together with the 3 amigos when a sensor related fault is logged

ah right, well the 3 amigos have just comeback on again!!!

is there a spacer or something that goes on the abs sensor to prevent it touching the reductor ring? an o ring or something?
