Mattfreelander

Hi guys . I'm Matt . Recently got a 2002 freelander 2.0 TD4 . I would like to raise my suspension for more ground clearance for when off roading. But I can not find anywhere online selling the spacers needed to put on top of suspension to raise it by bout 40mm. See them for all other landrovers but not freelander . Can anyone help please ?

Try MuddyMods.com

Thinking of a 40mm lift myself, do you need to extend the brake pipes and do you need the canver bolts or is that just on the 50mm lift? And also can i put 225/74/16 on as well as opposed to 215/65/16?

I put a 40mm lift on and didn't need to adjust brake pipes-the kit I bought from www.muddymods.com came with camber adjusting bolts and I've used them.
With the lift and a set of wheel spacers I fitted Amazon Technics MTs 235/70x16
Needed to do a bit of "fettling" at the front arch but nothing serious.
These tyres are so much quieter tha the Insa Turbos I had.

I fitted the 40mm kit from muddy mods as well I didn’t extend the brake pipes but did have to change them as the back ones were shot on the connections and wouldn’t come apart to get the strut out I was lucky with the front as the track rod ends where only a year old so came off easy.
