Hi, just wondered if anyone could help me with a problem that has just started on my Range Rover P38 1988.

Whilst driving along yesterday, whenever I pulled up at a junction or traffic lights the front suspension kept lifting and lowering as though it was trying to reset itself. I pulled over and pressed the suspension lift/lower button and it sat down on its lowest setting. When I tried to lift it up again, it wouldnt. Setting off again, it lifted up as I was driving along.

I parked up at home and I pressed the suspension button again on its highest setting and the warning light (an arrow pointing to a car) came on on the dashboard.

Any help or comments would be appreciated as I am a novice with Range Rovers.

Hello could someone help out somehow so washed car other day after suspension said in active started car next day seemed fine got out car could hear a hissing sound from from wheel arch possible leak. Struggles to raise to off road mode but managed to get her up an 3 light stopped flashing on centre unit passenger side corner tends to lower slightly but then re try’s to raise. So issues is when went to put back down to normal drive height the rear stays high up in the air I’ve tried to put the front back up to off road mode but won’t go up an light on centre unit just keeps flashing. But what I do get is why the rear won’t go down as the rear is fine. L322 4.4 V8 Petrol 2003

Sounds like your front air bag has gone and put the system in hard fault mode
