Hi all, I just picked up an '02 L322 TD6 as a farm hack, and it came with a few issue. It had the usual suspension inactive warning on the screen, but the car sat perfectly straight at normal height. It also had a fuel injection warning. I bought an iCarsoft CR Pro to read the codes. The fuel system code was P1255 low pressure sensor. I found the plug was lose so I plugged it in properly and cleared all the codes. I had to stop on a hill and unplug it again as I had no power! Stationary, at idle, I've got 4.15bar lp, and 320bar at the rail. With the sensor unplugged it defaults to 4.4bar and the rail pressure remains the same. The car is also quite smelly ticking over so I've started by ordering a full set of filters and an egr bypass. On the suspension, I had one code, too much energy for regulation, rear left. With the codes cleared, the compressor engaged, but only for a few seconds. After that it would only engage for a lower, rather than lift command. Resevoir pressure started at 5.1bar, and dropped a little with each try. Eventually I discovered that even with no codes present, that if I selected delete codes, the compressor would run for a while. I eventually got the resevoir pressure up to 6.20bar, and the car raised up a few inches, starting at the left rear. However, the compressor couldn't seem to get past 6.1/6.2 bar, and the exhaust and high pressure exhausts opened each time it stopped according to the live data. The compressor reached a high of 100C. Any thoughts on where to start? I can hear no leaks, and the resevoir pressure seems to hold.
Thank, Dave
