Replaced n/s rear hub today for abs and tc fault since I last disturbed it.
All good now suspension will not lift but no warning lights on .
Still waiting for my new nanocom to arrive so is anything common that would not put on the light ?

Hi, As you've had the vehicle jacked up to do the hub the air bags have probably gone out of sync. If you have a tow bar, try jacking it up on that a bit to try and get the RHS to kick in and regain the correct height.

Thanks will try that in the morning

Yes it should if everything is ok but it can't pump air into the bags as the valves are closed so you can bridge the relay for test but if you hear it running stop right away cos it pumps against itself

Well just bridged the relay tested for 12v at terminal 30 first.
then put in fused link between 30 and 87
compressor did not run
assumption compressor dead
now do i buy new compressor
or convert to springs ?

To be sure that the compressor is dead you should put the bridge instead the relay and measure for voltage in the compressor's plug. If you get voltage there then you know 100% that the compressor is fubar. As about converting to coils, i'm against that but it's a personal choice.

Would agree. SLS is a great feature of the car in my opinion but plenary change to coils and plenty are happy with their choice.

would like to stick with air as its what car was built with .
Have the opportunity to recieve a second hand compressor from a 2004 model
did they change anything between 2001 and 2004
part number for one offered is 100041 but i cant find a part number for my one .

Something very simple to try before you buy another compressor, unplug and test it with a separate 12v supply.

Right borrowed a mates diag tool
it talked to my car no problems
does anyone know why my non a/c poverty model has 4 faults for a/c in the engine ecu?
And can i recode this when i get my nanocom tomorrow .

made by a company called launch tech it uses a tablet and update able software .
I could talk to engine srs abs bcu clear codes recode injectors it even gave me my code for if my alarm goes down.
Will plug in the nanocom tonight to compare but this seems to do it all

Those codes are false, launch can ''talk'' with Td5 but with glitches, i'm sure that you'll not get those codes with nanocom

Right its here ;):):).
Plugged it in and still have the 4 a/c faults that will not clear.
Also can anyone tell me whether the td5 has a two or 3 position throttle ?

If your vehicle was without aircon from factory then it seems that you dont have the original ECU, If it had aircon but it was removed that's the reason, not programmable with tester, it's a mapping thing... i've seen these faults only with non-dedicated tester and they were false not shown with nanocom or similar.

As about throttle tracks, depends on the engine, 10P/Eu2 = 2 track, 15+P/Eu3 = 3 track though once the throttle is responding the setting is OK cos a wrong setting for that would let the engine run only at idle
