Happy new year to all !
Hi all just a quick one can anyone tell me which suspension compressor is fitted to my baby and if there is a service kit available? also I take it the thing is underneath(similar place to my old series 2 disco. Keep getting ‘ suspension fault normal ride height available only’ however this clears on a restart and recurs irregularly sometimes a month later. No lowering when left stood in garage for 3 or 4 days. Benn having a few little electrical niggles lately passenger side heater only getting warm whilst drivers side gets red hot on hi setting, reverse sensors int fault, wondered whether a battery disconnect for a couple of days may ‘’ reboot electronics thanks guys.

If I remember there is a process to your sportbus that'll do a reset.
Best to hear from an owner or more knowledgeable person before you try it.
Damn these things are complicated!!

Yep they sure are, gone are the days when a socket set, hammer & chisel crow bar and a lot of sweat did the job now you have to have a laptop and a degree in computer science/electronics and they call it progress, more like stealer profiteering

hi

it might be an AMK or hitachi , the hitachi ones u can get repair kits but the success rates are very mixed

these are the kits if it’s the hitachi

https://x8r.co.uk/land-rover-discov...ort-air-compressor-repair-kit-hitachi-end-cap

u really need to get it plugged into a diagnostic reader

Mmm hung up the sheriffs badge 4yrs ago was happily retired until rangey started gettin all temperamental. Not sur about chocolate starfish but just love a big bar of galaxy:):)

Neither Goldilocks :) Sgt but Sheriff was the nickname given to me by local ner do wells and it sort of stuck

Jet washed all muck and salt of put it in the garage, disconnected battery, put heaters on and left it to dry out. Tomorrow Gonna blow all 4 ride height sensors off with airline and give em a squirt of wd40 a d then reconnect battery and see what appertains if fault comes up again it’s off to have it on a diagnostic. Phew. Tried the battery off thingy to see if when the systems reboots the other little niggly faults disappear

You were politely asked a very simple question. A very simple and polite answer was all it required. Whatever the reasoning behind the "Goldilocks" reply , whether it be some unfounded snide dig or be it an attempt at banter, may I politely point out, you do not know me. Therefore please refrain from trying to use personal nicknames or attempted terms of endearment.

You can have that back too
