Bloody ell chap, if you is going to fix yer landy by yourself you're gonna need to sort your toolkit out ;)

I know!! I have spent a small fortune on tools since I bought my landy but every time I do a new job I have not got any of the tools needed!! Gonna need a bigger shed to store them all in soon, which means I need a bigger garden for that shed, so I am going to need a new house, with a big garden and a big shed. Think I need to start working some more overtime!!!

Ah its not that bad, you learn over time what's best - just can take a LONG time though ;)
Plus you'll learn what spare parts to keep on the shelf 'just in case':D

Well I managed to get the front done today and have changed the rear shocks but not the springs as the spring retainer bolts are seized solid and rounded off so I now have a wonky landy which is lifted at the front and not at the back!! This job has been a nightmare from start to finish (and i'm not finished yet!!).
Whats the best way to get the bolts out that hold the spring retainers?? Cant seem to fit a hacksaw or grinder in there really.

Tap the edge of the spring retainers upwards with a hammer so that you are effectively foldin the bar in half. You may then be able to remove the spring by rotating it and can then get to the retaining bolts easier.
