There are no suspension bushes fitted to a P38 that can effect ride to any extent.

Think he probably ment after market polybushes

I've had mine in since July they have been fine and will be much easyer if ever I need to do them again.

I know you don't like them:)

They will make the steering very vague as you haven't included a link !;)
Hah! Sorry I'm such a dimwit, but someone solved the riddle - it's the new britpart poly bush set. They claim they have been made to the same degree of softness as rubber, so as not to ruin the ride, but then they have been known to make a few ambitious claims in the past...
It's already on order, so I guess I'll find out - just wanted to know if anybody tried them.

You can fit what you want. No problem, i prefer the proper bushes, but each to their own. But a new set of bushes of either type will make the suspension more taut and give the impression of a stiffer ride. But it is actually the axles resistance to articulation that has been tightened up not the suspension rate as such.

Think the attraction of these poly bushes is that they are easy to fit and change.. Once you have wrestled the rubber bushes out that is. But i would think they are going to wear out a lot sooner than the rubber units that's for sure. :)

Think that is what i said. I have a press to do a proper job, that will last ten years or more, so it would be a no brainer to use something inferior.
