you've probably covered this before a million times, i have a disco td5 converted to springs at the rear, airbags gone, i hope to give it a 2" lift pretty soon, but i'm been put off by stories of having to change propshafts and radius arms, then i hear a few that dont and are ok, what is the to do and not to do for a 2" lift? and what products are recommended? cheers :)

I presume your wanting to do it the cheap way and just lift it by changing the springs and shocks then??
Ideally you want to change the rear propshaft at least as the rubber donuts tend to destroy themselves quicker when they are lifted. Your probably better off in the long run to buy a proper lift kit.
As for recommended products it's a minefield!!!
My opinion(mine is standard height) bearmach springs with bilstien shocks works a treat!!

no robbh, you pressume wrong, i'll spend on what needs to be spent on, just hearing different stories on how to do it, some have said front prop and now you just said rear prop, so i'm even more confused now,lol..

cheers mate..

Lol sorry dont mean to confuse you more.
To be honest I only thought the front prop became a problem when you lift more than 2".
I may be wrong. But yea rear prop with the donut on is worth getting rid of.
Have a look on a few websites that sell lift kits should give you an idea of what to do/replace when lifting.
Might be a good idea to fit extended flexi brake hoses too.
The list goes on.... Lol

cheers robbh, i know about the brake hoses, i've been looking on a few sites for info and theres a lot of conflicting advice, if someone has done this lift i'd appreciatte you letting me know what i need, might do as you've done robbh aand just leave as standard ride height but uprate em lol, much easier, cheers mate:)

No worries happy to help.
I was gonna lift but done a bit of research and decided against it as they are more than capable standard. So uprated it all instead. I haven't got stuck from not having a lift (yet)

Will the added weight i have be an issue, i have heavy duty rear bumper and front winch bumper, rock sliders and full under body protection..
