Hi, is there anyone available who had a tow bar. I'm in studley, midlands. Needs a tow to the garage, suspected bottom end.

We've tried our bar but the clip broke.

Sorry I can't help :( discos off the road with power steering pump failure and rangie is in the garage being tarted up after wife decided she wanted to get too familiar with a wall
 
morning chaps what the issue where is he needing a tow home or to a garage? i have only got a 6 metre tow strop
 
No brakes.

I'm round the corner from home, going to a garage about 5 miles away.

Ideally need a bar. As the engine feels like it's seizing. Don't want to run it.
 
right do you know anyone with a bar? or do u have one urself? as i am affraid i dont have one,
 
We have a bar, but the clip on the end is broken so doesn't sit properly. Using the 2 rings on the chassis, no other recovery points on the front.
 
Im free in about an hour. Im in redditch now in a citroen c1. Im the same as gozzy though. Lots of.ropes but no bar. Im also a little closer I think?
 
Cheers tom, it really needs a bar as the engine can't be run. So no breaks I think? Could be wrong? But the engine is dead. :-/
