I know the chap you mean, I think his name is Dave Halley but I have no more info, sorry. I don't think he has a web presence, and the last time I dealt with him was about 4 years ago.

looked them up on the web and it's:

Halleys is now trading at Redhill Aerodome, 01737 821272 (01.08.11). Very helpfull and worth a call.
