Okeydokey, that explains the dog issues :D And a few other things.....

So you could probably cobble together a full 4x4 recovery sled team then?

dont worry andrew, unlike booger i have a tdi engine - so im sure we will manage ;)

what is it you got booger - -n/a?

either way i am definitely looking forward to this weekend! still only 2 vehicles though? surely not!!!

Mine is a 2.5 N.A.D. So if my Landi had Cheerleaders they would shout GO NAD, GO NAD, we love GO NAD... or something like that ;)

I may just bring the dogs and meet you at the cliff, because I need to give that another go :D

Cheers, Carpy - hopefully all that extra power won't be needed! I am to roar through the mud and not get stuck!

Booger, I appreciate the offer of a wheel wash. Plenty of dirt still to shift despite the rain on the weekend!

haha sounds a plan! the power is there just in case anyhow! always good to have potential recovry just in case!

My N/a when it was good was superb loads of low down grunt (nothing compared to a V8) but my tdi is gutless below 1500rpm or until the turbo starts spooling up it makes driving off road slowly and smoothly quite difficult the na was slightly better but the petrols much better still. Unfortnatly bhp doesnt mean an awful lot when off road torque does. Where the tdi is king is motorway and bloody good all rounder. 200 tdi is outstanding! As is the fluffy 300 Jai

oh f#ck it. Ill bring me v8. turns out the guy i had arranged to see about another landy this morning sold it to someone else so i now have money to waste on fuel!

Also means we'll have the power to tow you both out!

You've gotta come now booger

woo nice one, will speak to jet tomorrow and see if i can get him to come along in his series

Guys, I can't do Sunday any more  I am going to have take a rain check and hope you decide another visit is called for. I am available on Saturday or Monday, if anyone wants to do a pre- or post-recce there?

But the real entertainment factor was going be seeing the slitty in the mud, after sliding down the mountain

Without wishing to be a party pooper, I would be a bit concerned if the purpose of Sunday was to go and churn up a section of lane that was already damaged. I also understand it might have been "off-piste". That is, if true, not something that we responsible laners should encourage, particularly after the recent threads concerning muddywankers.com.

Too Late :D

Seriously, I think you are mistaking enthusiam for hooliganism. Everyone was very considerate last week, and nothing was damaged, and no one was offended. I'm sure Sunday will be the same.

It is definatley not anyone's intention to go somewhere and cause damage !

thats no problem mate to be honest with you. it might be a good one for you to come along because there are some decent sections but nothing where i can see you needing a tow! may be a good intro for you!

have you got a rear tow hitch

tell you what, if anyone is interested but not so sure give me a call - 07789 804452 - on whatever. i have driven most of the lanes recently so can tell you what to expect. i may not be about here all that much in the next few days but do give me a call

nice one guys, look forward to seeing you all, im chuffed that screwys coming along!
