A few of us popped out last Friday and did some of the local lanes. Haven't been out for ages, just not had the spare time.

Shall i find somewhere new to get stuck so you can try some new lanes then kris? :D
Kidding, lesson learnt, well after all the **** takin anyway ;)
Cheers for letting me tag along friday, i enjoyed that, well apart from carpys constant eating :D

Anyone about next weekend for a spot of green lane initiation? Either Friday evening or Sunday would be reet handy....

A chap at the pub meet mentioned that Frensham is a good place for novices like me, so tempted to head down there :)

Hi guys... Bit of a newbi here! Looking to go out Green Laning but can't seem to find too many drivable lanes near where I live (Bromley)( Now I have to start looking further a field.

Can you let me know when you are next planning on going out in Surrey\Kent so I can tag along? Just bought a '95 Disco with a few basic mods (2" lift, big tyres & bumper) so nothing too extream, but willing to have a go! Thanks...

Dude, i thought you'd be there, if only to dribble all over that disco with portals :D
Considering tekkin the van instead of the range, guaranteed to get there then and have more space for the crap i'm bound to end up buying
Gizza shopping list carpy, i do quite reasonable finance ;):D

dont, i might actually give you a list of stuff i need :p

i know the disco quite well, its a nice one, if slightly unuseable. too much lift, i doubt i will go with more than 2 inches of lift on mine, so it wont look as unstable or top heavy ideally

 my Friday evening will involve driving to Brighton to look at a trailer for me landy.

Shame  Hope you find one :)

Am waiting on the LPG lorry getting to Farnborough... the Disco is running on fumes! Farnham BP is broken, Total Fleet is all out.... come on that lorry!

Aye she has a tiddly 6 gallon reserve tank :) Brand new stainless steel jobby :p

I need to take out a second mortgage before I flick the switch onto petrol mind

I did wonder how that all worked then seeing as the engine must initially start on Petrol .

Yup, I know what you mean about the fuel, I cry every time I fill my up, but I cheer up as soon as I hear the 8 cylinders fire up.

yup and me, my work commute is only a 10 minute jobby, but when you work out the amount of motorway miles i rack up it really is painful - i try not to think about mpg and fuel costs these days. i just fill up with my eyes closed till it stops filling, then put my pin in when he asks me to.

i tend to manage about 250 miles in an average week. but that can often go well over that. with a v8 its bloody painful
