haha. as it happens i would actually be driving home past you on the m40 on tues. You'd have to choose which half you want thocould do me a favour and bring back alice and amanda though - that would be much appreciated
as i dont suppose th other would appreciate sharing the boot with my bike

Been washing the landy, that mud wasn't too bad, not like the Core mud.... anyway gonna wash it again tomorrow as I'm sure I missed some, and then wash it the next day too cause I'm sure I will miss some mud tomorrow.
Then when it's clean I'm going to waxoyl it and get it ready for my travels, 200tdi engine, disco rear axle, twin batteries & split charge, roof mounted extraction fans, solar water heater & shower, cb, subwoofer, roof console, spot lights, cooker... (what did I miss ??) so no more laning or p&p till then.
Funds permitting I want to get a V8 series truck cab, pref on a rangie chassis with coil springs, just for mucking about... Anybody sees one please let me know..

i will keep an eye out for you mate, you sound in the same boat as me. im on the lookout for another vehicle now, so i can keep the 110 nice, and start preparing it for the expedition, so im always scouring fleabay etc for stuff
if you had said earlier i could have got you onto a series 3 truck cab - 1982, needed a little work but waxoyled chassis and solid bulkhead as i understood it. went for £606 on ebay a few hours ago

i should be getting in the region of a grand soonish in cash, so thatshould put me in a good position to buy something! i might even go for a disco, i think they look class with a bit of work, very aggressive. but then there is no benefit of tax free driving

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking I need to start doing some camping in the landy, kind of a shakedown for the upcoming travelling..
Anyway thinking about a short camping trip to start, say Sat 11 July to Bosham Tidal Village www.wetroads.co.uk
Spend the day there checking out local lanes and the tidal road, spend the night at a nearby campsite, drink some slurpy's have a BBQ.
Then Sunday morn the wimps can go home, and the brave can head to

Anyone keen, I'm not going to organise it unless there are some takers, in which case it will get it's own thread !
Also want to go on a longer trip (7 Days/+) at the end of Sept, anyone keen ??? I'm keen on Morocco, but open to other idea's...
