Hello,
I was wondering if I could put a AMR500 supercharger on my landy. The engine is rebuilt and I have a Weber 38/38 and a custom exhaust. I know the other options are porting the engine head or putting a acr camshaft but it’s a much cheaper way with the supercharger in my country. Am all ears of your ideas and opinions.

I should think that would be a good way to blow up the engine and / or gearbox and snap half shafts !

You are talking about the parasitic lost right ? But still I would have more power than before
Mechanical loss in the drivetrain for the supercharger.

Maybe a fraction, but only about as much as fitting a 2.5 petrol.

It is a Series, they aren't meant to be fast.

A Series is pretty good off road standard. I know, I have driven thousands and thousands of miles in them.

The driver is the main factor, as in all driving.
Yea definitely I won’t argue with that anyways the off road capability of the series is great but still just want that boost. If i had the money I would have swap it with a diesel turbo but no money honey!

Thought of that too it is in my to do list but still to expensive for a college student money
If you buy a Detroit locker, and fit it in your own diff, they aren't actually a lot of money. You can sometimes get them, or ARBs, second hand, sometimes already installed in an axle. Look around on the net.

I doubt if any of those will be as expensive as supercharging a Series engine, and your engine is more likely to survive.
Your vehicle will also hold it's value as well.
