How to Remove Sunroof - Can anyone help

I am trying to fix 2 leaky sunroofs and want to reseal the plastic trim that fixes to the outside of the roof.

I have removed the headlining and inner drip tray but can't figure how to remove the sunroof completely - can anyone help ?

Remove the drip trays, they hold the sunroof in (along with the sealant) they will probably still leak even if you re seal the roof, it's how they are designed. You are as well to look at the front corners of the tray where the drain pipes are. The little plastic trays leak and the plastic becomes brittle and the pipes break off.
Once you drop the tray make sure the little plastic drain pieces are well sealed that the pipes aren't blocked.
I've done a few of these, it's a well worthwhile job that needs doing right.

Yeah drip trays are off - I need to remove the plastic frame that attaches to the outside roof to reseal it but not sure how it comes off ?

If you've removed the inner part of the frame tgen all that will be holding the outer frame will be the original sealant.
Carefully ease it away from the roof skin.

Remove the tray and mechanism from the inside (winder/cables) then the glass and plastic just lift out from the top. The bit that looks like trim on the top is actually the sunroof, there should be sealant between it and the roof.

ok will try removing the mechanism tomorrow to see if I can get it out to reseal the black plastic trim to the outside of the roof - thanks all
