Hi, have been using the sunroof on my p38 4.6 all day up and down when I got home it seems to have gone dead! fuse is ok all windows work fine just the sun roof. Anyone know if there is a relay or anything else that might be causing this. Have looked on here and some people say the whole switch pack could be faulty but not sure if this is the case as the windows still work. Any advice guys?

Have you checked to see if any power is going to the motor when you press the switch?? Drop the front light pod thingy to get at the connection.

The sun roof on my classic does exactly the same thing. I think they are just a bit temperamental, or just mental. You'll probably find if you leave it a while it will just "fix itself", mine does.

I've tried to diagnose the issue but have never found anything to go on. That said the classic doesn't have such complicated electrics/controls. I have noticed that the sunroof is more likely to throw a fit when the weather is hot, can't say I figure that but hey ho.

theres 7 wires i think going to roof motor on p38's, the two thick ones are the power suply, shove 12v down them to see if it worksm hopefully it wont then you can replace motor, if it does work it then may be switch pack or BeCM even
