fairly sure they run from each of the front corners down the 'A' post (pillar) and out by the rear of the front wing bottom ??

(well that's were water drips on me mates ES)

Discool-thanks for the excellent link, and to the person who put it all together, will certainly come in handy.
Mike-the drips on your head ,mine does the same,it may have something to do with my rear sunroof not working,i shall have to check them both out.
Lucky it is parked under cover.

Yes thats right farmer giles, MANTA MAD should get a lot credit for his info,

Well done MM :)

I have a disco2 2004, leak from the sun roof. can anyone tell me where the drain tube is?? chris
They don't have drain tubes, which is why they leak into the cabin.
I've fixed this on 2 of my past discos by replacing the seals and sealing the sunroof frames to the roof panel with black silicone. You can make a neat job of this if you use a very small nozzle and a small amount of silicone.
My latest disco is due the same treatment once the weather is a bit drier!

If your seals are OK, you can probably get away with just sealing the frames to the roof (no idea why LR never sealed them in the first place).
The seals are tricky to fit correctly and you have to make sure they are water tight. Make sure you use genuine ones. You should be able to get your head far enough into the aperture with the sunroof closed to see if there's any light coming though between the glass and seal.

Thanks Discool excellent guide! - mine leaks through the winders but funnily enough doesnt leak when dried out and wound down tight (as it is over winter) but when its open during the spring and there may be a little rain it does. I think I'll take on this job on a nice sunny day later in the year!
