My 1980 2.25 petrol 88 has developed a tinny rattle which is really noisy now. Something must be due to fall off v soon.

I've had a good look and can't find anything loose. It only makes the noise when its moving and I ease off the gas, so I can't trace it when I've stopped.

It seems to be coming from the engine bay/under the vehicle.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your thoughts guys. Its a high pitch rattle rather than any serious vibration.

Its started since I put parabolic springs on the front. Rears have been on for weeks.

a rattle??? its not the big washers on yer shock mountings by any chance?
