Dam thats sweet...Is that a p38 with a newer vogue grille and lights????? If they can install a fridge in a classic then im sure that it can be done.

Ha i dunno fridges are hard work!lol Yeh its nice its a cover car for Fast Car magazine. its a P38 with head light an rear light conversion, and extended arches.

An if anyone knows where he got that stainless steal side step from let me know!!

for the side steps look at Land Range Rover Sport LR3 LR2 Discovery Defender Freelander Genuine OEM Accessories Parts or Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories or www.roversnorth.com.....or go to Land Rover Forums and you'll find something...hope that helps

aint that car for sale on ebay, i am sure i saw that plate on one the other day.
as for the work involved, it would be the strenth for such a small hinge as opposed
to the 2 that normally hang such a heavy door.
unusual looking conversion though, not too sure if i would go for it, now a convertible
P38 might be interesting, great for shooting.

Yeh a convertible would be interesting I really like the suiside doors tho look the part but how often do u use the rear doors. Looks like they have removed the handles so I don't know how u open them. I would hav thought as long as u use a heavy duty hinge I would be ok.

i well made hinge from titanium would be the order of the day,
how about a convertible with lambo door openers fitted.

Would think that the hinges are fitted to 1/2" thick armour plate for strength. I reckon that a shipbuilders probably did the job

:hysterically_laughi

wouldnt that make it harder to get in the back?Would have to be good hinges and susicide doors with a door pillar are a bit pointless

Well there a bit pointless but they still look good. Lambo doors now that would be good.

shall we design a soft top with lambo doors, put it on coil srings and change the running gear to a late classics more reliable parts. be a nice car then :croc:

anything is possible in my opinion ;-)
seen that rangey a while ago and loved the doors!
had lambos on my old rover and they were a complete tw@ to fit!!
suicide is the way or if u want it to look 100% bonkers then fit these....

Yep. Start with a Honda Accord then spend 50 grand on it then look down and discover your **** is still no bigger. Dammit!!

Not sure if this would be a legal proposition if carried out on a DIY basis. I believe vehicles thus designed are required to have a device fitted preventing the doors from opening if the car is in motion.

I reckon you need to look at the construction and use regs. Heaven help you if a door opened whilst you were moving and wiped out a pedestrian in these litigation mad times.

Don't think you can get rid of the handles anymore either, there has to be a visible method for opening the door.
