Thats good news you got Tiny done, you prob be directed to the Others camping, I will be in with the SLROC, as I am working over the weekend, I have got Geoff bunking down in my caravan as well, looks like a good weekend is going to be had.
I am aiming to get there tomorrow night, so i dont have to get up at silly o'clock on sat for the breifing of drivers/marshals on sat morn.

hmmm, might leave the caravan at home then and kip in the truck. Don't fancy leaving it all day whilst I go off roading and finding it nicked when I get back.

Sadly, I won't be making it this time. Bits from Paddock's which should have arrived Tuesday only turned up this afternoon (Thursday) so I'll be busy.

Hope those of you went had a good weekend and enoyed yourselfs, the Offroad Course saw a lot of use, as did the Green Lane Course, good to see many Landys at the Show as well, I gave loads of people rides for chairty, and had a great weekend.

Noticed the 4x4 course was busy.
We were camped right across from the Slroc camp Other side of road to the car enterance to the 4x4 course. opp main arena
How did that 6 wheeler get on amphibous army thing (sorry can't remember the name of it)
There was a chap in Black Disco with Orange beacon and blue Flashers fire safety motor I think, at night there was a Little thing in the back window with scrolling lettering. Is he part of slroc.

You mean the Stolly - think thats whats its called, what a beast, the sound of it was great, and it just crawled around. shame it was not realy put through its paces.
The guy in that Dico was the Fire and Safety officer for the Airfield.
I did get some pictures but was kept busy driving around the Offroad course and greenlane course all day both days - its a hard life,
I will try to compress and upload some soon.

Good to hear it as it's not very old as an event, so SLROC are trying to make it better each year, it has been noted that the trade stalls could have been better, and the autojumble could have been bigger, but as with all young events, they have to grow and doo with reputaion, traders will only come if they think is worth it, and this confidence has to come, hopefuly it will, with growth.
I have heard that on of the younger members of the SLROC had a camera busy, and is soon up loading the pictures onto the website, I post the link when it happens.

I popped along Sunday, got there about mid-day.
Not alot of Trade-stands (As mentioned), but I guess, it is a Young show.
The off-road course's were good...& my RSJ-rear bumper didnt get snagged all day.

Talking of Camera's Nearly lost mine, Used it to video the ramp off and the Twist off in the main arena on Saturday, Then we went to the Beer tent sat night couldn't miss our groupe two of our members grabbed of of the girls and put her in the bin
on sunday went to video that Stolly coudn't find my camera, Had empited my Disco out as had put my tent away, so went to the PA at the ring The woman on the pa called out on the two way radio, and that chap in the disco had found it had fall out of my pocket Saturday night :doh: So I'm a happy chappy and a lucky one

Yeah think its only the 2nd year, may be the Third, next year will hopefully improve, better well surported and built up, then big and **** and dieing after two years..... The two courses were different form last year, hopefully an improvement.
It sounds like most had a good time tho, and hopeful i'll catch up with you at next years show.
LOL I and the marshalls did think the RSJ Bumper done the Job well, lol.

Well I thought it was good weekend as said shame about lack of stands
Think the Ramp was good Started to drag on abit after every one had a go (not knocking it just me)
And would just like to say thanks to SLORC for a good event
