I remember my dad's old marantz speakers when the foam went on them.
I repaired it with tyre puncture repair glue and three layers of toilet roll, I then repaired some speakers on our guitarists 4x12 cabinet using five layers. It worked a flipping treat.. but you do need the original material to take the form from... rubberised bog roll.... Flexible dude!!:cool:

I replace mine with two of these from eBay. Poly cones & rubber surrounds should be better suited to damp than the original paper cones.

So far they sound good although the sensitivity is lower than the HK drivers. I simply tweaked the sub woofer level on the stereo to compensate.
