PAS pipes are looking horribly corroded, but like-for-like replacement seems like a proper arse-ache - talking around 150 squids for the pipe set, and probably a day's worth of dismantling and refitting to access the pipe run (which is buried under the rad pack).

I saw an interesting alternative suggested a while back: seeing as PAS pipes are 'just' hydraulic pipes, get a substitute set made up to order at a hydraulics specialist - lower cost, and I can choose my own pipe run.

Anyone else done this, or can suggest an alternative hack?

I did this on a Saab 95 pas pipe badly corroded. took the old one to Pirtek.co.uk and they made me a new one to the same pattern. £27.00 if I recall. My D2 pas pipes want doing, might try this again.
