Hello all.

I have a slight leak from the union on my N/S carb on my 3.5 Rover.
I have tried applying some PTFE tape, but that hasn't made any difference.

So, how hard is it to get the whole pipe removed from the casting and replaced?
I can't find anything on the Burlen site that helps.

It is a FZX 1270L if that helps.

Do you mean on the brass fuel inlet pipe?. I believe this is a push fit.

I have ordered a new one from Burlen. Approx £6+postage

The old one did not want to come out, so was lightly drilled with a 6mm bit until it span and was able to pull out.

Hopefully, I can get the new one in square without bending it.
