Hi guys. After replacing engine I'm getting engine cut outs on idle and 5-10 sec cranking before starting again. Also at around 2800 revs power begins stuttering and can't be pushed any further (most noticeable at high speeds, but can feel it at very high end of acceleration in low gears too). Does feel like an overall lack of punch. Other than that drives fine and just passed its MOT (luckily no cut outs during the test!)
I've replaced the FPR as it sprang a leak, assumed that was the problem. Hasn't made a difference. Replaced fuel filter and also air bleed valve (although this was salvaged from my breaking disco, but which ran ok. I replaced all injector seals and washers when I put the new engine in, so hopefully not those. Fuel pump is pretty much brand new. Not getting any smoke whatsoever - seems very clean.
Was thinking maybe turbo actuator related, but wouldn't explain cutting out and not wanting to start...
Any ideas?
