A copper stopped me recently and said the reason for the stop was I seemed to be drifting from side to side and then accused me of using a mobile phone whilst driving. My response was, I don't have my mobile with me and I wasn't drifting, I was avoiding the potholes ffs.

Col

You'd have to be Top Gun to miss all the potholes here.

If they're distracted, they're not in full control.
then they should be hung and then shot. :D
Weve just pulled out of a junction on a green light, made the turn and a car flew across the road behind us... They hadn't stopped at the lights.. If we'd have been a little later they may have hit us.. Tourists on the island, some of them don't care when not in their own place. We see this in our area also.

There are idiots everywhere. However, I now have to add , I have no idea if my previous comments apply to drivers in France. The law quoted was for UK :)

Pretty much the same here, just less observed  tractor drivers on the phone in four ton machines pulling big trailers as well. The mind fooking boggles sometimes :(

the German courts have just fined someone for using the cars in built touch screen whilst driving
So it should be. It's the same as pis#ing with a phone... Lack of concentration on the road.
Like. People who sit at junctions on there phone or flipping slip roads into motorways in traffic..
