Hi,,

Apparently my TD5 es 03 auto has a stuck wastegate and is overboosting. How do I cure this and is this the reason I only get about 330mile to a tank of juice?

330 aint far off the normal for a auto td5

Yes it is. I'm getting well over 500. Even driving it hard it does over 400 on a tank. '99 auto TDi.

Have just done about 440 on my 1st tank in my 53 td5 auto, Guess that this could be better as i get more used to it and stop putting my foot down lol

Do the EGR and keep it below 60 and you'll be amazed! Might get a little bit better too if you use that BP expensive diesel or add some bio-diesel.
