Hey,
Fl1 td4 2002
Drove for half a mile and the car cut out,
Battery good.
Car doesn't fire (turns over fine)
When I turn the ignition to 2 the doors click as if they trying to unlock
I cannot lock the central locking with the key or remote..... Any ideas??

Kind regards

Don't know about the doors but as its a deisel and not starting - no fuel getting to the cylinders? Fuel pump stopped working?

Update, got my other keys, which now lock and unlock car, now both sets of keys are working!
I'm going with the fuel pump.... As I replaced it in October (cheap one from eurocarparts) and it's not making any sound.
Checked all fuses and relays
Thanks

You checked the fuel cut off switch underneath the fuse box area?

That can trip and stop the fuel pump running and also unlock the doors!

Worth checking

Yep, fuel cut off stops the pumps running and makes the locks play silly buggers to prevent you being trapped in event of a crash.

Happend to my wife a few years ago died at traffic lights Luckily the Green flag man owned a freelander.

Checked the cut off, couldn't push it in so I'm guessing that's ok.
There is power going to pump it's just not pumping !
Waiting 2.5 hours for AA to tow me home .... Will have a proper look in day light tonight
