Is anyone available to give me a pull in a transit van. I’ve slid backwards down hill and am stuck on a bank with a 6ft drop to the side. Any help would be appreciated cheers
I’m in HX3

HX 3 is a big area, so where are you?
Northowram? Ovenden Road? Illiongworth? Mixenden? Ogden?
I still know a few people in that area who might be able to help.

I'm in Hebden Bridge later this afternoon? Not sure how close that is to you or indeed if you will still be there.

Just spoke on the phone to @top-cat, they're OK, but have a couple of wheels stuck in the mud at the side of the road, the wheels on the road are on cobbles, covered in ice and snow, on a hill. They're up against conifers, close to a drop!!

From Hebden, it's on the other side of Halifax (A646), turning up the A647 (Boothtown/Bradford Road) once you have almost crossed the flyover heading towards Leeds, you will need to take the sliproad off to the left for about a mile to a mile and a half (uphill all the way to the top!) and then turn right on Ploughcroft Land, going over a crossroads and continuing straight on to Lee Lane, which is notrorious in bad winter coditions, so be careful!

We have got a local recovery coming. The van is not in a good spot and the few cars that have come by have been close to hitting us.
Thanks for everyone’s response

We even put the pennines and the M62 in to keep you Mancs out, but you still come over to God's Own County of Yorkshire!
With that, I'm pleased that TC has been rescued safe and well, so am now standing down wiv a c(_)
Another good result from the LZIR team!
