Why send the troops out there are plenty of ways he could get out look at all the trees must be some branches he could use ???

I assume a daylight recovery is not an option?
It would be easier and safer in the daylight.
If you do decide to go tonight, I suggest all 3 go and take EXTREME caution. leave two at the lane entrance with a CB as a lookout, whilst one goes to look. Do NOT recover without the OP present to unlock the vehicle.
