Hi all,

1991 Range Rover has been sitting for about 5 years (I'm a sinner), tried to release the handbrake to give it a push, get it out the way a bit, but it would appear the handbrake is stuck on...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If the hanbrake has been left on for 5 years the handbrake shoes have probably rusted on to the drum so try slakening off the adjuster and spraying with a release agent and hitting the drum with a hammer to release the shoes good luck with that as you will be working under the centre of the car.

If it's a manual then stick it in low ratio first gear or reverse and turn over the starter. It'll move even with the handbrake stuck on.
