Good afternoon peeps,

the rear diff plug on my 90 won't budge, tried WD40ing it with no joy,

will I damage anything using a blowlamp on it, obviously the oil will need changing after

No, may be an idea to have someone close by with a burns kit and fire extinguisher.

will take a fair bit of heat before yer even get the diff hot. bit of brake fluid tipped on it , let it soak in then hit it with the heat and a long bar and socket

Could get some freeze spray and try that, it'll make the **** holding it in place brittle so it might snap and come undone.

If not you could always try an impact gun

I'm officially thick as pig ****, the other half brought me an impact gun for the compressor at xmas, forgot about that option

you will need a extension bar as short as possible to use a gun ,the socket retaining part on gun stops the square fully fitting in plug it tends to round the square
