Yep, Derbyshire Bridge is the top of the Goyt Valley, Cat & Fiddle end of the old road to Buxton.
I'm down the road in Macc but have had a few beers watching the football so not much help.

What were you travelling with? just to make sure your helpers do not get stuck.

I just went off the side of the road not on the main track so I reckon chunky tyres will be helpful

You have chunky tyres on your motor going by the photo you posted.
Have you tried diff lock? How are you stuck?

Sorry, no. I'm the only one of my mates with a 4x4 these days.
I'm an un-modified D2 with road tyres and a tow rope but I could go up tomorrow morning. If one road-tyred D2 can't pull him out, maybe two can?
