I'm about to change both front shocks as the drivers side is goosed. Got some Monroe ordered, hopefully they'll be fine..

Anyway, as a precaution im changing the top mounts at the same time but I can't find the part number for the spacer that fits between the 3 bolts and the body in the engine bay, anyone shed some light please?

You can't change just the fronts to Monreo. Well you can, but the handling will be all over the place. Different spec shocks should always be fitted in full sets ;)

by spacer do you mean lift kit? ie 40 or 50mm if you do pm me

Cheers for the replies. I have now ordered the parts from LR, gonna pick em up tomorrow, hopefully the squeaking noise will go!

Picked the goodies up today, 2x shocks, 2x mounts, new nuts and bolts, track rod ends and drop links. Everything sprayed with plusgas. Looking forward to Sunday!

So, job in progress. Near side strut replaced, the track rod end ball joint didn't want to come out, eventually removed with a bit of brute force!

Does anyone have a part number for the white bump stop that sits on top of the shock, mines goosed.

Cheers

Cheers Nodge, those are the ones. I've put it back together as I need it Monday. I'll get em ordered and do it over the Christmas hols. Gonna have to do the passenger wishbone and drop link as well as the boots are split. It never rains...

Can I ask a question? I am doing this as well. On the shock top (The black thing with the bearing in it) There is an arrow stamped into it. Does this arrow point to the engine or the front of the car when fitting back on the spring?

Thanks

The arrow points towards the wheel.

The arrow points towards the wheel.
I am glad you said that, because that's the only way it will fit on the car, arrow out facing the wheel and not in toward the Engine like I was advised by the LR dealer that sold me the part.
