Has Wayfarer been repaired and properly re-opened?
If you're coming further North up around Denbigh/Mold pop in and say Hi.
Nice one cheers Kev, be good to meet up and say hi.
I think we'll be around Llandrilo and Bala mostly.
Nearer the middle then, so perhaps another time. Not done anything near Llandrilo, have been out around Bala before, some nice laning to be had. If you do get further North there is some good laning, certainly a nice little circuit near me. No doubt I don't need to remind you to take special care it has been so wet so will be challenging in places.

Where abouts is this nice little circuit. We're heading out to north Wales Sunday. Problem being don't know many places.

Tiz a bit worrying.
LZIR mite be shut
Buy the relevant maps and look for the byways, then check with local authority RoW. You won't find peeps posting grid refs and route details on an open forum and certainly not for folks they don't know. Have you done much/any laning?
Trust me on this, it doesn't matter what motor you drive, you may be lifted, gifted and ready to go but if you have all the gear and no idea you will get in to serious trouble.
I wouldn't want to be out on most lanes round here at the moment, too wet meaning 1- you'll damage the byways that aren't hard surfaced(rock/stone). 2 - high probability of sliding where you really don't want to be with no easy recovery possible.
3 - Places where there is flowing water will be deeper and faster flowing than normal.
Just be patient, watch the forum and if folks are going out and about ask to join - if you're not experienced driving on byways make sure you make that clear, as a friend of mine on here has in his sig, you can bull**** a lot in life but you can't bull**** experience.
I'm not having a go but you really need to know how it is. I'm sure like most of us here, once you have been out a couple of times you will be hooked but learn to do it the right way. HTH
Thankyou. I appreciate ur help. I have been off roading and green laning since I was a wee toddler. My gdad, dad and all uncles are all landy drivers. I learned to drive in a LWB seriesIII at the age of eight. I'm no naive divi n know wat to expect. It's just been a while and I only know of a few. Was hoping to broaden my knowledge by speaking to other enthusiasts. Not to be treated like a dcikhead.
At no point did any of the posts on here treat you in the manner you've just said but if youre no naive divi...and your dad, grandad & uncles go laning all the time they'll have taught you how to research lanes from maps and councils so you'll be right as ninepence on your own and as youve been driving landys from such an early age you will be fine to rescue yourselves if you and your mates get the mselves stuck.
I hope you have a lovely time in wales this weekend....forcast is a bit chilly so i plan to wrap up warm on the trip up there im on. Enjoy yourself
i sugest the right direction is to talk to them unless they thinki ya a knob too.:welcome2:They do the green laning too. Would just rather find my own way. Just need to be pointed in right direction.
Lots of bad wnakers in this thread!!

Primarily you and your alter ego.
As much as it pains me to say it and sound like a middle class snob, but really we dont need your sort here.
