Whata great read, I only wisk someone had text me last night so I could have joined in. I might even try and stratta Friday night now...... OOh Midges mmmmmm

Who would do Strata as a first lain.

That's a bit suicidal.

Also if you have a map and can read it then WTF are you needing signs post for the point of a map is.

It is a birds eye view of a piece of ground drawn to scale useing conventonal SIGNs and symbols. it is the frigging sign post with good map skills you don't need directions.

Not the best way to introduce urself. Have heard of this sacred strata and would love a go at it but have heard its quite tricky. Not for a novice by any means.

Plan a trip?!? I'm in if you'll have me. I know I'm new on here but would appreciate it if I could tag along.

Ok call me a cynical old c*nt here but Im going to throw my hat into the ring and say this is the same chap trying a restart on his LZ life, but if that is the case all it shows is a real shortfall on the grey matter and a complete lack of imagination.

Any chance we can keep it as the new pet?

Yeah why not :D

If changin your username makes you a different person you is mistaken. However..there are loads of peeps that organise green lanin trips, includin ST sometimes, instead of askin peeps to give you the routes why dont you put your name (and ya disco buddies) on a trip that way, you have the opportunity to do ST and also make amends with the guys on here.... no one is gonna give you a route for ST, even if your life depended on it.

That is great / mad- I'd have to get a few grommets for various holes in the bulkhead first. :p

Yes and the heater vents, that's where it came in on that day.

Remember to install some concrete slab to stop the weight of the water pushing the vehicle sideways.
Bloody strong stuff when it's moving that quick. :D :D

I haven't done Strata Florida, seen the videos though, doesn't look that hard. I'll get to Wales one day.

It isn't really .. till the weather turns, or has 'caught up' with you ..

Probably, apart from Chapels Gate and Roych Clough, my favourite lane .. but it does need treating with respect and isn't easily done when conditions are bad. Mostly it's high grip rock, so tends to break vehicles when their owners aren't mechanically sympathetic, or very low grip when it's wet, so wheels spin, dry the rock out and suddenly get grip .. but it's downright good fun when snowy and icy .. ;)

Helluva thread thobut .. ;)
